Ski holiday
Good things come in small packages- that's the motto of ski resort Niederthai. With four ski lifts and a total of 4 km of slopes, the area provides ideal conditions for beginners and families. More challenging slopes can be found in the ski resorts of Hochgurg-Obergurgl, Sölden and Hochoetz, which can be easily reached by ski bus.

Cross-country skiing holiday
Thanks to its altitude of 1.550 m (5,000ft) Niederthai can guarantee consistently good snow conditions for cross-country skiing from the beginning of December. Different levels of difficulty provide plenty of options to satisfy the needs of both the laid-back skier as well as the sports fanatic. All cross-country skiing trails (14 miles) are suitable for both classic and skate techniques. In fact, Niederthai has received an award from the province Tyrol for the grooming of its trails.

Winter walking
Walking endless miles across snow-covered meadows and through frosty forests, the sound of snow crunching under your feet, letting your mind wander: well prepared footpaths give you plenty of choice and opportunity!

Snowshoeing
Exploring the pristine winter landscape on snow shoes will leave an unforgettable impression. Snowshoeing is a relaxing and versatile activity, which will keep you fit and healthy. Guided walks are available daily.

Tobogganing
Have great fun whizzing down the toboggan slopes of Niederthai! By day, after a walk to one of the alpine huts, slide down the hill on a toboggan, or at night during one of our organised toboggan evenings.
