Our farmhouse is situated in Niederthai in the heart of the Oetztal at an elevation of 1.550 m (5,000 ft). Forget the hectic pace of life- even if for only a few moments- and refuel your energy. In and around Niederthai you'll find stunning landscapes set in tranquil surroundings.
Simply perfect for all climbers, walkers, mountain bikers and nature lovers. Alpine rose, gentian, Stuibenfall (waterfall), singletrails, sunshine…. and much more. Enjoy an unforgettable summer holiday in Niederthai in Tyrol!
Niederthai has everything…… skiing, cross country skiing, snowshoeing and tobogganing amid the snowy splendour. One of Tyrol's most snow sure and well prepared cross country skiing trails starts right on your doorstep. Ötztal's larger ski areas, such as Hochoetz, Sölden and Obergurgl can be reached in 25-45 minutes. The ski bus stops right in front of our house.
Our 10 cosy apartments, varying from 48m²-105m² (517-1076 sq ft), accommodate 2-8 people and are comfortably furnished. All apartments are fitted with flat screen TV and free WLAN. Sleeping under Beds of lamawool, just great!
Apartment in farmhouse; this apartment is 105m² and has got three sleeping rooms, bathroom, big living room, kitchen. Here are now dogs allowed.
Family apartments Alpenrose, Anemone, Arnika, Enzian and Silberdistel – 48m² (517 sq ft) can accommodate 2-5 people: they have all two sleeping rooms, one double bedroom and one children’s bedroom (2-3 children) with bunk bed. Shower room/WC, hairdryer, living room with dining area and kitchen. Three of the apartments have a balcony.
Apartments Heidekraut and Waldhyazinthe – 58m² (625 sq ft) can accommodate 4-5 people: two double bedrooms, one extra bed. Two bathrooms with shower & WC, hairdryer, living room with dining area and kitchen, balcony.
Apartment Edelweis – 100m² (1076 sq ft) can accommodate 6-8 people: 3 double bedrooms and one extra bed. Three Bathrooms with bad or shower and WC. Big living room with dining area, kitchen and balcony which great fiew on the mountains.
All kitchens are fitted with a ceramic cooktop, oven, microwave, dishwasher, fridge with freezer compartment, electric kettle, coffee machine (Senseo, filter coffee maker, Cremesso). View our gallery under 'Bildergalerie' for photos of our apartments and surroundings.
We offer a fresh bread delivery service every morning at a reasonable cost. You also can enjoy our free-range eggs, homemade sausage and butter.
The children can enjoy themselves in the playground and visit, cuddle and feed the animals. Alpin Appart is a children's paradise, where both little and the bigger children can play and romp around. Here they will find different pieces of playground equipment, bicycles, karts, a table-tennis table and many more. We provide children (and 'grown-ups' too) with the opportunity to experience the joy of getting 'close and personal' with lots of friendly farmyard animals, such as horses, ponies, rabbits, pygmy goats, pot-bellied pigs, the cats Fuchsy, Tom and Lily and our Lamas.
Weekly Lama / alpaca walk with Lamero Gerhard: an exceptional experience for the young and old that you simply can't miss out on! All people enjoy this calm and gentle creatures. And, contrary to popular belief, lamas don't spit!
